About The Artist

Roslyn Houser is a filmmaker based out of Halifax Nova Scotia. After being inspired by internet videos and short form content Roslyn decided to pursue her own career in the film world. This started with making short videos for her YouTube channel which then grew into them producing, directing and editing several short films as well as a music video after taking Film and video 12 in high school.

After graduating high school Roslyn enrolled in the Applied Media and Communication Arts program at Nova Scotia Community College in 2019. Here she honed her video production skills which lead them into producing her second short film outside of high school. After her time in the AMCA program they took some time to pursue her interest in both film and digital photography.

In 2023 Roslyn decided to return to NSCC to enrol in the Screen Arts program to further her understanding of film production and gain experience working in all fields in the film industry.
